Monogram lights are an image of "Your name in lights" surrounded by a romantic heart
or other like image projected onto the dance floor or a wall.
How is it made?
A
graphic artist designs the image, which is then die-cut into a
metal disc. The disc is inserted into a gobo lights projector that is
mounted on a light stand near the dance floor. Locomotion DJ
Productions uses the Martin PR-1 gobo lights projector shown here.
How large is the projected image?
The image can be 3-4 feet wide on the dance floor and 6 feet or larger on a wall.
Is the image stationary or rotating?
It can be either. A slow rotation is recommended which allows the image to be read from any location in the room.
What color is the image?
The image is created in laser sharp white light making it compatible with the colors you've chosen for your reception decor.
Why project the bride and groom's names on the dance floor?
The dance floor is a focal point of the reception area, but
it's just an empty surface during cocktails and dinner. When
your guests enter the reception and see your names in light projected
on the dance floor, you will have created the "wow" factor. Your
guests will realize that your reception is going to be
special. Your projected names surrounded by the romantic
heart embody your commitment to each other and also create a unique
backdrop for your first dance.

How do I order the Custom Monogram Gobo lights for my reception or special event?
Just have us add the Monogram Gobo lights to your
contract. Your gobo lights order must be placed no later than four (4) weeks
before the date of your wedding or special event to avoid additional
shipping costs & rush costs.
