One of our favorite things about the wedding was when people came up to us saying it was the most FUN wedding they'd ever been to. Everything was EXCELLENT!! Ernie did such a wonderful job. Every interaction and correspondence prior to and during the wedding was of the utmost in professionalism, kindness, and understanding. I have used Locomotion DJ twice and both time loved the music that they played and the professionalism of the DJ. The first time was at my wedding and I was most impressed by Ernie Houle's commitment and attention to detail especially with the names of my wedding party (its never a good thing when the DJ screws up a name). He was also very considerate and asked my husband and myself when other guests asked to make dedications to people at the reception. He always kept our best interests his most important priority. He also played the best music and I have many times wished that I could go back to that night because he helped make our reception the best party that I've ever been to. The second time that we used him was this past March for my sister's 40th birthday party. It was a much smaller event than our wedding but just the same Ernie came with the awesome music and professionalism that I expected from him. Once again, he helped us to throw an awesome party! Ernie Houle was our DJ at a Surprise 40th Anniversary Party I held for my in-laws. I cannot say enough words about him! From the minute I booked the event, everything went exactly as planned. The online event planner was so convenient and I also loved the deposit and reciept notifications via email. Ernie Houle was our DJ for our wedding at the Harding Allen Estate in Barre, MA on June 25, 2006. Everything was absolutely perfect. Planning the event with Ernie and Locomotion DJ Productions was great. I do everything I can via the Internet, and the ability to plan the event online was great. I really appreciated having our own site to plan our event with Ernie and request songs. Having payment receipts emailed to us immediately was great. Ernie was everything we wanted our wedding dj to be! He was personable, but not intrusive. He quickly read the audience and played music that had everyone on the dance floor all night. Ernie made our wedding very memorable and awesome. He played a wide range of great music that brought almost everybody up on the dance floor. We didn't have a very large wedding . . . 70-80 people, yet Ernie managed to have a lot of people up and about soon after the cake was cut. (Note: this action also made for a lot of great wedding photos and a great wedding video). We've received a lot of comments from our guests complimenting Ernie for his DJ performance at our wedding. Ernie was also very resourceful and diligent. One example: my wife's originally from Yugoslavia, and a lot of her Yugoslavian relatives were at the wedding. My wife had asked Ernie beforehand if he could locate and play a few certain Yugoslavanian songs. Ernie obliged and was able to find these tough-to-locate songs without reservation. He had the Yugoslavian contingent going wild on the dance floor to this music, which involved a beautiful-to-watch ethnic type of dancing and which was great music that pumped everybody up. THAT pretty much made the wedding reception a huge success. Unsolicited, Ernie also made sure to give my side of the family equal time, politely asking me whether I'd like to hear some Irish ethnic music, which I gladly answered yes. Pretty soon, the whole crowd was dancing to this music too, with my Irish cousin stealing the show with his Irish jig. Ernie's keen sense of what to play and when to play was always right on target and made our wedding so much more memorable than we could've imagined. He was very professional, thoroughly discussing the music to be played with us well beforehand, and taking care of all of our questions and promptly responding to all of our inquiries. Ernie also moved the wedding reception events along at a proper pace, so that we were able to enjoy the reception without any worries about the timing of everything. It was a load off our minds. And we've been told by some guests that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. We were lucky to be able to retain Ernie. We highly recommend him without reservation. Julie's mom and dad here. We just wanted to let you know what a great time everyone had at the wedding Saturday night. So many people came up to us on Sunday morning to tell us how GREAT the DJ was !!! Ernie Houle is by far the best DJ that we have ever heard - and we are so lucky because it was OUR wedding! Almost all of our 150 guests commented during and after the wedding on "how great" our DJ, Ernie Houle, was. He judged the crowd perfectly - we had grandparents, parents, and us youngins dancing the night away all together on the dance floor. He was nice to everyone, he was professional, he was so organized during the entire planning process and during the event. During the 2 week stress before the wedding, I knew I could count on him, that I wasn't going to have to follow-up on every little detail, as he followed upon on everything. It was so refreshing, I wish everyone could have been like Ernie! He was a blessing, and by far the best "vendor" that we hired for our wedding! Anyone would be crazy to pass him up!

Our wedding was perfect thanks to our DJ, Ernie. It was everything we dreamed of and more. The dance floor was never empty. Ernie read the crowd perfectly and even had requests after the reception was over. Ernie pronounced everyone's name correctly and even incorporated Armenian music into the reception. Our wedding was two weeks ago and we're still hearing comments from friends and family about what a great reception it was -- that's in no small part due to our disc jockey Ernie Houle! Ernie was professional and fun. He was flexible when unforeseen pre-wedding circumstances occurred (emergency surgery, last minute schedule changes, etc.). We had given him a CD we created to give to our guests as wedding favors and Ernie played many of the songs from it. If you are planning for a DJ to cover your event, look NO further. Ernie Houle DJ'ed our wedding on October 6th 2001 and people are RAVING about his choice of songs. Our dance floor was hoping all day, despite our early wedding (11am-5pm). He worked so hard the week before our wedding, immediately finding my last minute requests (and there were MANY) in a calm and laid back mannor, never once making me feel that I was asking just a bit much.
